Mid sized Native American property located in the upper Midwest seeks an experienced
Financial executive:
- Responsible for overall management of Revenue Audit, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Purchasing, Cashiering and Count Room operations.
- Oversee all financial functions to include, but not limited to: Budgets, Capital Expenditures, Financial report compilation and generation, Tax Reporting, Payroll, Financial Analysis, and AR/AP.
- Manage and direct the financial activities within the property including Payroll, GL, Disbursements, and Receipts.
- Responsible for the production of daily and monthly management reports, financial statements and other financial information.
- MUST have a 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Reports to the General Manager.

- Plan and manage the provisions of accurate, timely and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made.
- Recommend remedial action when and where necessary. Safeguard company assets by implementing and maintaining sound internal control systems.
- Facilitates constant communication with the various departments while monitoring budget overall management. Directs cash management efforts, bank reconciliation's and all other cash related monitoring activities.
- MUST have a College degree and 4+ years of Casino Audit/Compliance experience.

- Oversees several operational departments including: Table Games, Poker, Player Development, Housekeeping and Valet .
- Works closely with Marketing team to develop and execute promotions, approve creative/copy material and all related operational procedures.
- Manages six or more subordinate Directors and Managers who supervise a total of approximately 150 team members.
- Develops and manages the budget for areas of responsibility and reviews departmental financial data. Reviews casino activities and promotional status with the General Manager and monitors/adjusts performance to local competition.
- The ideal candidate will have strong Slot experience, and Table games experience.

- Responsible for putting together and maintaining a team of sales professionals in accordance with property standards, and maximize group business within the parameters established by the resort's Leadership team.
- Develops future business by identifying and actively pursuing potential leads, offering formal proposals and negotiating contracts and rates for Sales groups.
- Manage departmental payroll, and operational expenses including travel, trade shows, and promotional items, all within budgetary guidelines.

- MUST have come from a large Casino/Hotel, with a minimum of 5 years at the Director level or above.
